Educational Opportunities

Our education program is geared to help you know Jesus Christ and to grow in your knowledge of the Bible and in your relationship with Christ.

Sunday School
Sunday School is held every Sunday from September through May. All Sunday classes for all ages, including adults, begin at 9:15 a.m.. Periodically, various short-term studies are also offered.

Summer Activities
Summer camping opportunities for elementary through adults are offered at beautiful Camp Calvin Crest, a Presbyterian camp located on the banks of the Platte River near Fremont, Nebraska.

New Member Class
Three or four times a year a class is held for those contemplating joining the church or wanting to know more about what it means to know Jesus Christ and be a member of the church. Programs for Adults

Chancel Choir: Our chancel choir is directed by Rachel Kornfeld-Lambrecht. The choir meets every Wednesday evening from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM. 

Bell Choir:  Our bell choir meets every Wednesday evening from 7:30 PM to 8:30 PM.

Small Groups
Heritage has various small groups for fellowship and growth. These include:

--Evening Presbyterian Women's Circle: meets for fellowship and study on the first tuesday of the month at 7:00 p.m. in the Gibson room.

--Heritage Bookclub: meets the second Monday of the month at 7:00 PM

--Heritage Senior Fellowship: meets the third monday at 9:30 AM at the Hy-Vee at 50th & O Street for coffee & fellowship
