Part-Time Administrative Assistant

Heritage Presbyterian Church is looking for a part-time administrative assistant. The ideal candidate will be self motivated, works independently, has strong written and verbal communication skills, and demonstrates regular & reliable attendance.
Primary duties include:
Experience with Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, is preferred.
A work schedule of 15-20 hours (3-5 hours per day at least four days per week) will be determined with the top candidate. It is expected that regular office hours will be maintained once established.

- Preparing written materials including church bulletins, letters & emails, reports, etc.;
- Greeting visitors and answering telephones;
- Providing support for pastor, staff, and church leaders;
- Serving as a point of contact for organizations meeting at the church & maintain a schedule of events;
- Ensuring that invoices are paid timely and other required paperwork is processed timely; and
- Other assignments that support the church.
