What To Expect
If you're new to church, it can seem like we're speaking another language when we start using church lingo. We don't expect you to know what everything means, or how it all works. We've all been there and remember what it's like. Take the time to ask us any questions you have, we'd be happy to help.
Whether you want to have your child baptized or you are an adult who discovered the teachings of Jesus during a difficult time in your life, we baptize anyone who recognizes Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
The Lord's Supper is celebrated quarterly and also on days important to the Christian calendar (Maundy Thursday and others). It is a powerful symbol of our renewal of commitments to Him, Eternal nourishment for the life to come, and deep fellowship with each other.
At Heritage Church we celebrate an open communion. That means that all those who ‘believe on the Lord Jesus Christ’ are welcome to partake. It also means that ‘if you would like to know him more’ you are included in the invitation to this table!
Worship services are interpreted in American Sign Language by Frances Beaurivage, a professional interpreter for more than 20 years as part of our deaf ministry.
The Perks coffee corner is the hub for just about everyone young and old(er). We offer fair trade coffee, tea and hot chocolate beginning at 9:30 Sunday mornings. Stop by and start your day with a relaxing cup of coffee and some friendly conversation or grab a cup before you head to your Sunday School class.
Environmentally Friendly & Fair Trade
Our mission of having an impact on the world goes beyond the ministry of the church and includes treating the environment and people with respect.
New Member Class
Member classes are held as needed for those considering joining the church or wanting to know more about what it means to know Jesus Christ and be a member of the church.
